Actively collaborates with Operations and Maintenance teams to support day-to-day activities, including the development and implementation of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. Provides technical expertise to both departments, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing equipment performance and reliability.
Works in close coordination with the Plant Maintenance Manager and maintenance personnel to establish and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance plans from equipment commissioning through its full operational life cycle.
Recommends specific inspection, lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement activities, drawing on OEM guidelines, vendor recommendations, and operational data.
Drives continuous improvement in both equipment performance and maintenance processes through structured analysis and enhancement of administrative procedures.
Analyzes equipment maintenance history and investigates recurring failures to assess the effectiveness of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, as well as operational practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; strongly heavy industry background preferred; cement industry experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and proactive with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in CMMS; Oracle experience preferred.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance technologies such as inspection route planning, oil analysis, vibration monitoring, thermography, and ultrasound for equipment diagnostics and planning corrective actions.

Quarry Manager, MidWest, 100-115K
We are seeking a qualified Quarry Manager to oversee all aspects of quarry operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the quarry, including drilling, blasting, stripping, loading, crushing, and limestone storage. The Quarry Superintendent will collaborate closely with the Quality department to ensure optimal blending and with the Mining Engineer and Blasting to maximize reserves and plan efficient quarry layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all quarry operations with a strong commitment to safety, ensuring a risk-free working environment.
Coordinate and manage drilling, blasting, material extraction, and processing to meet production targets.
Partner with internal departments to align quarry outputs with plant quality and volume requirements.
Work closely with upper management to establish and manage the quarry budget.
Maintain accurate records related to equipment maintenance, production cycles, material requisitions, and budget compliance.
Identify and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities across quarry operations.
Act as a safety leader by promoting best practices and compliance with safety protocols.
Maintenance Manager, Cement
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including personnel and projects.
Evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions and merit increases.
Coordinate and supervise contractor work for specific repairs.
Meet with vendors to assess and procure maintenance equipment and supplies.
Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
Develop and execute major shutdown schedules, providing real-time updates and post-shutdown evaluations.
Actively support plant safety and environmental programs.
Partner with the Planner to review, plan, and supervise maintenance and predictive maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
Specify engineering requirements and solicit competitive pricing for major equipment and parts.
Ensure maintenance personnel comply with MSHA and plant safety regulations.
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the annual budget and capital projects.
Oversee training programs for new and existing department employees.
Collaborate with the Plant Manager on strategic goals and ensure alignment with plant objectives.
Perform daily inspections of plant operations and discuss maintenance needs with supervisors.
Lead monthly safety meetings and employee safety training.
Proactively evaluate safety hazards and investigate accidents.
Participate in labor contract negotiations and collaborate with union representatives to resolve issues.
Analyze maintenance reports to identify trends and support annual budget preparations.
Recommend operational improvements to enhance plant efficiency.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend warning labels, instructions, and signage.
BS Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a cement manufacturing facility, including management responsibilities.

Mining Engineer
Responsibilities
Assist in performing mine engineering and mine planning activities.
Work and communicate with other engineering disciplines to complete corporate projects.
Develop an understanding of the cement and aggregate manufacturing process to improve efficient mining methods; also understand changes to the plant’s manufacturing chemistry and how it impacts the mineral requirements and reserves.
Estimate mineral deposits and develop proper life of mine design.
Develop and annually revise mine plans.
Oversee mining projects such as exploratory drilling or rock mechanics.
Evaluate mining operations to optimize equipment usage and operations.
Perform surveying and plant inventory functions as required with varying survey equipment.
Operate as a commercial drone pilot operate remote drones for aerial survey work.
Qualifications
BS Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology.
Familiarity with MSHA and OSHA regulations preferred.
Supervisory experience in open pit mining preferred.
Familiarity with mining software and AutoCAD preferred.
Must be willing to acquire FAA drone pilot certification.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
