We are seeking a qualified Quarry Manager to oversee all aspects of quarry operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the quarry, including drilling, blasting, stripping, loading, crushing, and limestone storage. The Quarry Manager will collaborate closely with the Quality department to ensure optimal blending and with the Mining Engineer and Blasting to maximize reserves and plan efficient quarry layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all quarry operations with a strong commitment to safety, ensuring a risk-free working environment.
Coordinate and manage drilling, blasting, material extraction, and processing to meet production targets.
Partner with internal departments to align quarry outputs with plant quality and volume requirements.
Work closely with upper management to establish and manage the quarry budget.
Maintain accurate records related to equipment maintenance, production cycles, material requisitions, and budget compliance.
Identify and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities across quarry operations.
Act as a safety leader by promoting best practices and compliance with safety protocols.
Quarry Pit Supervisor, SE, 100K
As the Quarry Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of our quarry. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the development of the pit, executing the production schedule, managing stockpile flow, and ensuring efficient plant operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and team leadership. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of quarry operations, including equipment usage and production activities, ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements (air, water, land, waste disposal, etc.).
Lead and educate team members on safe work practices through routine safety meetings, individual coaching, reminders, and corrective actions as needed.
Enforce all guidelines outlined in the Supervisor Safety Procedure Manual (SSPM), including safety training, emergency response, incident reporting, and employee safety observations.
Plan, organize, and schedule daily plant operations to meet production targets set by the Plant Manager.
Coordinate staffing needs and time-off schedules in collaboration with the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, and lead personnel. Review employee time records for accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and implement production schedules with the approval of management. Communicate any changes, issues, or delays to ensure alignment with overall plant objectives.
Assess equipment performance (crushers and mobile machinery) and make necessary recommendations or adjustments to optimize output and meet production goals.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of supervisory experience in aggregates, construction, or mining operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of crushing plants and mobile equipment. Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently. Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices.

Plant Manager-Aggregates
Responsible for schedule planning, optimizing plant performance, safety, quality and environmental and cost controls. Operate under federal and state regulations.
Team and safety leadership, operational and budget management. Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Bachelors degree preferred, 3+ years’ experience accepted.
Able to manage a 24 hour operation, need analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues with operations.

Coordinate with Plant Manager. Require 1-2 years of experience and be responsible for directing the activities of a team of hourly personnel. Mining Engineer
Responsibilities
Assist in performing mine engineering and mine planning activities.
Work and communicate with other engineering disciplines to complete corporate projects.
Develop an understanding of the cement and aggregate manufacturing process to improve efficient mining methods; also understand changes to the plant’s manufacturing chemistry and how it impacts the mineral requirements and reserves.
Estimate mineral deposits and develop proper life of mine design.
Develop and annually revise mine plans.
Oversee mining projects such as exploratory drilling or rock mechanics.
Evaluate mining operations to optimize equipment usage and operations.
Perform surveying and plant inventory functions as required with varying survey equipment.
Interface with company managers and contractors.
Perform exploration and exploratory work on prospects and new mining sites.
Work with the environmental division to develop and maintain mining operations to remain in compliance with local and federal agencies.
Operate as a commercial drone pilot operate remote drones for aerial survey work.
Qualifications
BS Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or Geosciences.
Familiarity with MSHA and OSHA regulations preferred.
Supervisory experience in open pit mining preferred.
Familiarity with mining software and AutoCAD preferred.
Must be willing to acquire FAA drone pilot certification.
Highly organized self-starter, ability to maintain multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
